Sigiriya Lion Rock
A UNESCO World Heritage site, Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters high. Yala National Park

The Nine Arch Bridge
Hidden in the jungle near Ella, this colonial-era railway viaduct is an architectural marvel built entirely of stone, brick, and cement without steel. Set against lush tea fields and tall pine trees, it is one of the most photographed spots in Sri Lanka. Visitors gather here to watch the blue train pass over the arches.
Mirissa Beach
A tropical paradise on the south coast, Mirissa is renowned for its crescent-shaped beach, coconut palms, and lively nightlife. It is the best place in Sri Lanka for whale watching, offering chances to see Blue Whales and dolphins. The famous "Coconut Tree Hill" nearby offers stunning sunset views over the Indian Ocean.
